MT4 Beta 1.1
I just posted the updated beta. More changes coming soon.
You can now use the pick up action to pick up guns from soldiers. You can use this on dead bodies or alive soldiers! Picking up a gun will also give you some supplies.
I'm adding undo move and grenades next. After i'll be adding the shop and finishing up.

Hey guys i'm releasing a new beta version tomorrow.
The beta will have side arms, and new features to make it more fun! You can now shoot your gun more often.
Once the game is fun and you guys enjoy it. I will focus on finishing the game, rather than tweaking it.
Also, the game should be released by late Sept. MT4 taking a while to develop but in the end, the game will be really awsome!

Hey guys. I will be releasing a small beta tomorrow of the fully updated Modern Tactics 4 game.
A lot has changed in the game for the better and its really fun. It'll only contain one level but it'll contain enough stuff to be fun.
Everyone will be able to play this beta but the next version will not be public!

The new editor for Modern Tactics 4 has just been released.
Note: You can only place tiles for now. In the next update, you can place objects (oil barrels, soldiers, crates) and dialogue boxes to make your own cutscenes.
Next week it will be updated again.

Hey guys, its been a month since my last post. I have been busy working on some very cool stuff.
So i'm currently working on the editor. Its coming along great. I'm adding a lot of features to the mt4 editor. So its going to take at least a week.
Here are some features:
Choose game mode.
Place objects (oil barrels, doors, crates) and soldiers anywhere.
Customize opponents and place any number of them.
Create cutscenes with dialogue.
Publish your map and easily share it.
45 tiles.
This is a lot of work for me! So I will release a version with half the features, then later add everything.

Hey guys update time. I have been drawing and redoing a lot of my code. I have added explodable barrels, hostages, evil leaders and stuff like that.
I have been really busy with other stuff. The game will be finished before Sept no matter what.
I'm hoping to get most of the game done this month.
I got a job a month and a half ago and it ended up taking all of my spare time! Meaning I barely worked on MT4. I will have to quit it, unless I get better hours.
Anyway, do you guys want an editor to make maps while you wait? I can quickly get that up. :)

I have just updated the demo with all new abilities! Such as suicide, full-auto, launcher, crouch and more!
The sniper class gets a unique ability called camo. It allows the sniper to avoid all bullets but be aware frag grenades still hurt!
The game is coming along nicely. More updates next week. :)

So I have been extremely busy with school work, I had to make 5 games in less than a month!
I have made big changes to MT4 listed below.
Select which soldier you like to move.
Soldiers stay on the ground when dead and can be revived.
Jamming happens less often.
Guns are more powerful.
Grenades, crouch, side arms, aim, mend, knife, throwing knife and more are new abilities.
I don't know when Modern Tactics 4 will be complete because I am taking my time on this one. Stay patient and the game will be amazing!

I just uploaded the short demo of MT4. It only contains one level and you cannot leave it. The next version will contain more content.
Tell me what you think. I took the good things from MT3 and brought it all back.

So, you can already guess the demo is not ready. There is no point in uploading what I have now. Its not enough to call a demo.
But by this Sunday the demo should be ready. It'll be pretty basic, just one level right now but you will get a good feel for the game.

It's time for a small update. Currently all the guns are being drawn. There is a total of 24 guns with one secret gun for every type of gun (one for submachine, one for assault etc)
Now there is a lot of fighting over no money/ rank system. Guns can be found from completing missions, picking up guns, destroying crates or just randomly. Attachments/equipment will be found from completing missions and new abilities will be unlocked through challenges.
I think its a far system and I am taking my time. If it doesn't work well I will change it no big deal.
Here is a list of possible objectives:
Elimination - defeat all enemies
Hostage - protect the hostages, they are AI controlled.
Assassinate - defeat the targeted enemy.
Bomb - Defuse the bomb before it explodes.
VIP - follow the AI controlled VIP to the exit point. Don't let him die!
The game is coming along nicely and nothing is being rushed. I know this game will be a success.

No money or rank system. Equipment, guns and outfits will be found from completing missions.
Three campaigns, terrorist ops, special ops and main campaign. Total of 35 maps.
24 guns, yes including rockets!
Secret guns, outfits and cheats
editor, with downloadable maps
A story with a main character
Three environments snow, sand, grassy
Filters, such as, night, snowing, snow storm, sand storm.
Equip multiple attachments and abilities!
And more!
Modern Tactics 4 will be my best flash game. I will try to release a public demo by March 30 to boost hype. I know a lot of people have lost confidence in my games lately. This should counter that.

An update has been released for Knight Tactics 2. The update automatically tracks stats when you're logged in on Throw the Project.
You can see other peoples stats on their profile and check out the top scores at the leaderboards.
Pretty cool? I think so, i'm now starting on Modern Tactics 4. Updates on that next week.

On Mar 3, leaderboards and stat tracking will be added to Knight Tactics 2 and possibly Path Maker too.
A leaderboard will be present for each high score in each category. Right now Knight Tactics 2 will have a leaderboard for most kills, wins, loses and gold collected.
Afterwards in the next week medals will be awarded in game for achieving something. They will then be visible on your profile and your overall score will be increased.
I think this is an awsome idea and will connect everyone together in a small way. I have already tracked some stats on my profile, so check it out!
